Top 20 of 2012.

Is it already time for a new year?

I can't believe how fast this year has gone! As I look back through thousands of images from 2012, I can't help but tear up a little. This year I found myself shooting with frozen hands while bundled up in the snowy mountains of Colorado, laying on dirt and gravel to get the perfect city skyline shot and with my pant legs rolled up in Huckleberry Finn style to wade in a river for a serene shot. And I'd do it all over again for these clients we also feel we can call friends.

It's no secret I love my job. I cherish the opportunity to capture these moments for people. And this year's Top 20 is just that. This year I decided to pick out favorite Moments. There is no real qualification for this litter except that every photo makes me feel something. And provoking emotion through a 2D experience is something of importance to me in a world exploding with stimulation.

I'm already more than excited to look into my inbox and see who got engaged over the holidays. Some people get post-holiday blues, but this time leading into the new year is full of anticipation and excitement for me as I look forward to meeting new clients and wonder what next year's top photo roundup will look like.

Cheers, friends!
