tuesday tip: table markers

Capturing details is one of my favorite parts of shooting a wedding. It really helps bring the story of the day together and helps you remember each little thing that, when stitched together, creates a beautiful quilt you love snuggling with.

One of our recent brides created so many amazing details for her brunch wedding, but today I wanted to pass along the idea she had for table markers. Her mother hand-embroidered each letter of the alphabet and they purchased simple frames to mark each table so guests would know where they were sitting during the reception. After her wedding, I learned her mom is going to take all of the letters and sew them together and create a quilt to give to this couple once their family grows and there is a baby to wrap these memories around. What a neat way to repurpose something from your wedding to keep and cherish!

From our world to yours,
