As we listened to toast after toast from family and friends, it was evident these two people had been set aside for each other. And when the day came for them to finally join together, it was indeed a special celebration for Nevette and Steven.
When I walked into the Hilton Marietta Hotel and Conference Center on the day of the wedding, I watched so many hands at work; arranging flowers, stuffing programs and tying ribbons on gift boxes. Hundreds of handmade desserts, created and carried to Atlanta by Nevette's family, were being carefully placed on trays.
With the bride's entire family from Ecuador and the groom's side hailing from Fargo, North Dakota, smiling was the main method of communication. And it was beautiful. This day was about the union of a couple and the coming together of two cultures. What a great celebration!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon! We're so glad we got to capture and be a part of this day!
