safehouse outreach christmas party

"To affect real change in the lives of those in the margins of society by providing a hand up, not just a handout."

We're so happy to get behind SafeHouse Outreach (SHO) and their mission for the city of Atlanta. A couple times a year, it's an honor for us to be able to use our gifts to give back to our neighbors. This past weekend Tin Can, along with some great help from JGwynArt and JD Scott Photography, got the chance to make family portraits for the folks attending the SafeHouse Christmas party.

After handing a printed image to one mother, she explained to us this was their first family photo. Wow. Helping someone to create a family legacy is an amazing task I'm humbled to be a part of.

Philip and Dacia Bray, the founders of SafeHouse and friends to all they meet, are a gift to the city. Their work, serving and teaching others to serve, is a beautiful example to follow--especially at this time of year.

What will you be remembered for?

This question is at the forefront of the SHO leadership and legacy. The Brays have begun a great work and you can easily be a part of the progress. Visit the SafeHouse SITE and find current serving opportunities, or, even simpler, click HERE and donate much needed funds to this urban outreach. Help make this "the most wonderful time of the year" for more people!
