Before the day came for her to put on a white dress and marry the man of her dreams, Leigh and I had only chatted via phone and Skype. But as I'm sure all her friends and family can attest, she is just as beautiful inside as out and her sweet spirit will capture you right away.
Before we knew it, Bryan and I were hugging the whole family like they were one of our own at a summer barbeque. (Oh yes, don't think we traveled to Alabama without getting some local bbq!) And when it came time for Leigh and Garrett to exchange vows, we gazed down on their day while photographing from the balcony of her childhood church. And my eyes teared up a bit. What an honor it is to walk into two people's lives on such a beautiful day and capture these moments for them.
To know these two for a day is to know you're around an amazing couple bound for great things. The morning of their new journey together started off with a few storm clouds, but after they spoke their promises to each other, we all walked out to the most beautiful, warm sun streaming through the trees.
