Julie + Matt l Silver Run Chapel Wedding

"I just don't want to forget how incredible this day has been," she said to me softly as she smiled, looking up from the pages of her journal. In one of the small rooms of an early 1900s small white chapel on the edge of the Talladega National Forest, I saw Julie writing through a cracked door near the end of her reception.

For Julie and Matt, this day could not have been more perfect—mainly because what they care about most is each other. Promising their lives to each other through handwritten vows was the most important part of their day. You could tell everything else was extra joy happily consumed.

With the warm sun and a cool breeze, the afternoon felt like the perfect balance between summer and fall. From their couple portraits in the forest to their sun drenched ceremony to celebrating with dancing and Steel City Pops, I can only imagine as a beautiful writer Julie has much to record about this day. We're just so glad we got to play a little part of telling their story.

May these images flood you with sweet memories for years to come.
