Hales Family | At Home

This house has been in Natalie's family for years. She recalls her grandmother and dad telling stories about living here. This place holds some really special memories, so before the Hales family packed everything up for the next chapter in their lives, they invited us over to capture a few pictures together.

We had the best afternoon just letting them hang out at home and be themselves. These kinds of in-home sessions that celebrate daily life together make us super happy to be a part of.

I love thinking about how their little girl will grow up and get to see the place where she took her first steps, ate animal crackers and rode a 4-wheeled pink pig all over these hardwood floors. This is where they began as a family, and they are taking all this love with them to their new house.

Has this spring weather been amazing or what?!

Making portraits with our clients this season has been a joy. And we just love our clients. It's especially exciting when we get to celebrate their seasons in life with them.

You may remember these folks from their portrait session hiking together in North Georgia. This year, they've got a new little adventurer to add to the family fun, and it was so neat getting to know little SJ and capture all of her expressions.

Warm sun rays falling upon rustling, colorful leaves. A few light layers for a good many walks. Apple cider and cast iron skillet meals. Hasn't this fall been absolutely wonderful so far?

We've been out and about enjoying the weather with some wonderful families and wanted to share a few highlights from all these great family sessions while we're busy editing away!
