This house has been in Natalie's family for years. She recalls her grandmother and dad telling stories about living here. This place holds some really special memories, so before the Hales family packed everything up for the next chapter in their lives, they invited us over to capture a few pictures together.
We had the best afternoon just letting them hang out at home and be themselves. These kinds of in-home sessions that celebrate daily life together make us super happy to be a part of.
I love thinking about how their little girl will grow up and get to see the place where she took her first steps, ate animal crackers and rode a 4-wheeled pink pig all over these hardwood floors. This is where they began as a family, and they are taking all this love with them to their new house.
Home travels with you.

Jennifer + Eric l Atlanta Engagement Session
"A lake carries you into recesses of feeling otherwise impenetrable." —William WordsworthAs we walked down a wooded trail towards a lake, it was a slightly overcast day and the reflections in the water were quite clear—the symmetrical tree line unfolding to replicate itself. It's amazing how something so simple as a body of water can bring the sky so close within reach. This particular area is a special spot for Jennifer and Eric to go on weekend walks with their dogs, so this was a perfect location for their engagement session. Their love looks beautiful here.

Lauren + Jay l Atlanta Beltline Proposal
"On the tracks where the two become one."
As Jay described exactly where he was going to stop on a evening walk and propose to Lauren, I'd only just met him but I was already excited to play a little role in documenting this important moment for him and his now wife-to-be. He talked about Lauren with love and care and put a lot of thought into curating a really special night for her.
I'll say it again and again. It's the stories of the beautiful people we get to help tell that make our jobs so great.
