Walking this densely wooded trail with these two as they prepare to become three made for a beautiful evening. As the sun began to duck below the tree line, we so enjoyed getting to capture some images of them during this time and space of their lives. They are about to embark upon a new path as parents and we couldn't be more thrilled for their new adventures ahead. If the way they treasure each other is any indication, this new babe is one blessed little person.

Their story is about to change completely, and we're so excited to be a part of it!

I love to imagine our clients looking back at their images in 20 years, 30 years, 40 years and remembering where they were right in this moment. With this particular couple, I can't help but get goosebumps thinking about their little one growing up and one day finding these images. This child will already know he/she is loved, but to have it cemented in image form—something you can see—will be magical. Before you were even born, you were loved so, so much. And your parents are pretty awesome people.

To be able to capture this little notch on a family's timeline is really a special privilege.

There's such a sweetness in making some portraits of two people as they wait anxiously to welcome their little one into the world. And it seems fitting that Miss Bethany may make her appearance at any time now as the seasons are changing. 

I'm so glad we got to do this session with you guys, and we simply can't wait to meet your petite bébé.

Michael + Daphne l Atlanta Maternity Photography

Vibrant murals on city walls, a long bright multicolored tunnel and a small local park.

Scouting for Michael and Daphne's session was almost as fun as the actual shoot. When she said a colorful city look represented her personality, we knew just the spots we wanted to check out. Thanks to the recent Living Walls conference, we even found some beautiful art that was only hours old.

We had such a blast getting to know these two and capturing some sweet moments in the final weeks before their little boy arrives (which we'll get to photograph soon!).  Becoming a part of families in this way—documenting their most beloved moments—is really special for us.

Thanks for a great session, Daphne and Michael! You guys are such a fun couple and we know you're going to be awesome parents too!
